Jennifer & Nick’s Hillsborough, NC Elopement

at Maple View Farms

I met Jennifer and Nick on the day of their elopement. Both drove up from Florida to tie the knot in Hillsborough, NC. They wanted something simple, and at the end of the day they just wanted to be married.

Nick used to live in Hillsborough, in fact—right down the street from Maple View Farms! He knew of the best places to photograph at, which I very much appreciated. They married at the Maple View Farm Ag Center. All day it was calling for rain, so—I made sure to have enough umbrellas set and ready because rain or shine these two were going to make this happen. Ironically, it never rained at all. In fact, the sunset gave us the prettiest of pink and purple hues. It was truly breathtaking to be out on the farm overlooking all of the animals with this beautiful golden hour light.
